Pasty Irish Boy

I've been working up the courage to try a colour portrait of Colin Morgan. My last two forays into colour were somewhat disappointing but I decided not to become discouraged but try again.  I used oil pastel again, but used a colour extender to help blend, and added Prismacolor pencils for details. I liked this method, the coloured pencil goes on top of the oil pastel like butter, and although this was a quickie (4 hours) I'm pleased with the improvement over my last two colour portraits. Colin is my muse!
